![]() Just LOL this example in the Warhammer 40k collab that's going on still.Originally posted by FREEZER:Hey you guys. The devs were considering pulling out of Steam and shift to Epic Game Store because EGS has no review system. It got their player base in an uproar and a bunch of long time players started nuking the reviews for "That other game" on Steam big time. The mistake those devs did was they tried to do it all in a short time span, whereas WG did theirs over a long period of time, which was more sly. Recently the devs there did what WG was doing: A big reduction in rewards, probably larger from what I gather. It even has a naval warface aspect to it, so it competes with WoWS also. On a related note, a game I don't play but watch content creators for is, "That other game." A game that's a direct competitor to WG's titles. There's also the fact that WG has been leaning more and more into gamble aspect of the game like Random Bundles. Today the separate camo and bonus package are absurdly priced. Perma-Camo before wasn't cheap, but you got the camo + stats to go with it. Then look at the worsening value, costs when Camo + Camo Stats Split happened. How the hell did we go from Doubloons -> EliteCaptXP? Remember when getting duplicate Premium Ships netted you Doubloons? That's gone, recently WG made it as laughable as EliteCaptainXP. The Economic Rework that happened at the same time as the Camo + Camo Stats Split. You've been playing this game for a good while. If you look at it as a way of making players play a lot more or to *nudge* spend money *nudge* it makes a lot of sense.ĭon't be focused on the SC rewards nerf. I'm trying to figure out the business logic for this, but it must be beyond me.
